i recently login with Student free access after complete all steps.. while i was using azure services it can show like below..

what can i do? again i go back and it ask to login through credict card. i need student accces can you please slove my problem as soon as possible

Hey Uday, it sounds like you’ve signed up for Azure for Students but don’t yet have an active Student subscription on your account, so the portal is prompting you to add a (paid) subscription instead. To use Azure services under the free Student offer you need to:

Sign up specifically via the Azure for Students offer (https://aka.ms/azures4students) using your valid school-issued email address.

Complete the academic-status verification steps—no credit card is required.

Once verified, you’ll see an “Azure for Students” subscription in the Subscriptions blade of the portal. That’s the one you select to create resources.

If you’ve already done all that and still aren’t seeing the Student plan, can you answer a few questions so we can drill in further?

Follow-up questions

Which email address did you use to sign up, and was it accepted as a school address?

Do you see any subscriptions listed under Azure Portal > Subscriptions — and if so, what names/IDs do they have?

Did you receive the “Welcome to Azure for Students” confirmation email after you verified?

Is it possible the offer expired or that you hit the credit/usage cap?

Can you share a screenshot of what you see on the Subscriptions page?

Hi @Uday gyara ,

It looks like your Azure for Students subscription has not been activated successfully yet. Even though you completed the registration process, Azure is still not showing an active subscription and which is why it is asking for a credit card when you try to create resources.

It needs some time, so please wait for some time and check again, as subscription activation can sometimes take a while. If the issue continues, you will need to contact Microsoft Azure Support and provide your student verification details so they can verify and activate the subscription on your account.

Once the Azure for Students subscription is activated, you should be able to create resources without adding a credit card.
