Missing Files

In OneDrive on-line the folder structure exists but the majority of files are missing and are not in the recycle bin. It almost seems that someone has gone to each folder and deleted the files. (many .jpgs)

Can they be recovered from a Microsoft server?

    This may happen if you don't keep your Microsoft 365 subscription active. Free OneDrive offers only 5GB of cloud storage, and most people need much more than that. Could that be your issue?
