  1. sandbox:/mnt/data/Guild_Capital_Markets_Pitchbook_Styled_Investor_Report.docx - this is not active as a downloadable link on my mac
  2. I asked Copilot to upload the file on my Onedrive and I was told this task is not possible as no agent is allowed

Can you help please by indicating me how I can download the files created by copilot and why they cannot be saved on Onedrive?

    Hi Marco,

That sandbox:/mnt/data/... path isn't a working internet hyperlink; it's a raw backend file directory from the AI's internal scratchpad. Copilot sometimes mistakenly prints this internal path instead of generating a proper web download link.

Additionally, because Copilot operates within an isolated security sandbox, it doesn't have direct permission to access, browse, or modify your personal OneDrive folders on its own—which is why it told you it isn't allowed.

To get your file, simply reply directly to Copilot in your chat window with: "The sandbox link is broken. Please provide a clickable web download link for this file."

This will force the system to move the document out of its internal scratchpad and surface a proper, clickable download button. Once downloaded to your Mac, you can manually drop it right into your OneDrive folder.
