Log into your Microsoft account on this link.

    https://account.microsoft.com/security

    Select 'More security options'.

Are you able to disable 2FA on your account in the 'Two-step verification' section

Two-step verification (2FA) for a personal Microsoft account (including Outlook.com/Hotmail) can be turned off from the account’s security settings, but only after successfully signing in and completing any required verification.

    To turn off two-step verification:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Security tab: https://account.microsoft.com/security and sign in.
    2. Select Manage how I sign in to view the ways to prove identity.
    3. Under Additional securityTwo-step verification, choose Turn off.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

    Note:

    • When two-step verification is on, sign-in always requires two forms of identification. If access to all security methods (phone, email, Authenticator, etc.) is lost, it can take up to 30 days to regain access, and access might be lost permanently. Keeping multiple security methods (for example, at least three: phone, alternate email, and an app) is strongly recommended if two-step verification is left enabled.
