Did you restart your computer after attempting removal?
Also try this: In Explorer, click on the ●●● > Options > Under Privacy, uncheck all options > Click Clear > Apply > OK.
HTML files cannot be removed from the Recent Files list in File Explorer

HTML files cannot be removed from the Recent Files list under File Explorer > Main Folder.
When selecting multiple files (HTML and other formats) to remove from the list, only files of other formats will be cleared, while all HTML files remain in the list.

2026-06-06T21:58:58.7133333+00:00 This action only removes entries from the Recent Files list, not the actual files. I believe this is a critical bug that needs to be fixed urgently.
