Try these steps on the Windows 11 PC that stopped casting, comparing with the similar laptop that still works:

    1. Confirm Miracast support and basic connection
      1. On the problem PC, press Windows logo key + K.
      2. If a message appears saying an external display must be connected with a cable, the device does not support Miracast in its current configuration.
      3. If the TV (or its Miracast dongle) does not appear in the list, continue with the checks below.
    2. Check Wi‑Fi and TV/Miracast status
      1. On the problem PC, select the Network icon on the taskbar and make sure Wi‑Fi is turned on.
      2. Make sure the TV is on and its wireless display / screen mirroring / Miracast input is enabled.
      3. If using a Miracast dongle/adapter, verify it is firmly plugged into the TV and powered.
    3. Verify Wireless Display app / projecting settings (if casting to another PC) If the target is another Windows PC instead of a TV:
      1. On the target PC, go to Settings > System > Projecting to this PC and make sure it is set to be discoverable.
      2. Ensure the Wireless display optional feature is installed (search for wireless display from Start and open it).
    4. Update drivers and firmware
      1. On the problem PC, ensure display and network drivers are up to date.
      2. Check the TV or Miracast adapter manufacturer’s site or app for firmware updates.
    5. Restart devices and reconnect
      1. Restart the Windows 11 PC and the TV (and Miracast adapter, if used).
      2. Press Windows logo key + K again and select the TV from the list.
    6. Remove and re‑add the wireless display
      1. On the problem PC, open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.
      2. Under Wireless displays & docks, select the TV (or adapter) and choose Remove device.
      3. Press Windows logo key + K, or select Add device > Wireless display or dock, and reconnect to the TV.

If the issue is with a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter specifically, also try restarting or resetting the adapter as described in the referenced troubleshooting article, and reinstalling graphics and Wi‑Fi drivers if needed.
