A Microsoft desktop and app virtualization service that runs on Azure. Previously known as Windows Virtual Desktop.
Hello Manny,
Thank you for reaching out Q/A
I understand that your password expired over the weekend and that you are currently unable to sign in to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) while working remotely.
Based on the information provided, this appears to be an authentication issue related to the expired password rather than an Azure Virtual Desktop service issue.
To regain access, please complete the following steps:
- Reset your password using your organization's password reset process.
- If Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is enabled, you can reset your password at: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com
- After resetting the password, verify that you can successfully sign in to Microsoft 365 using the same account:
- Sign out completely from the Azure Virtual Desktop client (Windows App, Remote Desktop client, or Web Client).
- Close and reopen the client, then sign in using your updated credentials.
- If your organization uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), complete any required verification prompts during sign-in.
- If you are using the desktop client, try connecting through the Azure Virtual Desktop Web Client to ensure cached credentials are not causing the issue:
If you are unable to reset your password yourself, please contact your organization's IT Helpdesk or Administrator and request a password reset. Once the password has been successfully reset and synchronized, you should be able to sign in to Azure Virtual Desktop again.
