    Hello,

That will depend on the type of scanner and software you use.

What is your scanner's brand and model?

Most scanning software has the scan-to-PDF option. If your scanner has an automatic document feeder, place all pages in the feeder in the correct order and select the option to save all pages as one document. If you are using a flatbed scanner, scan the first page, then choose the option to add or scan another page until all 21 pages are included. For normal text documents, use 200 DPI or 300 DPI, and choose black and white or grayscale instead of color if possible. Before saving, enable any option such as “compress file,” “reduce file size,” or “compact PDF" if available within the software you use. After the scan is complete, save the file and check its size before attaching it to an email. If the file is still too big, you can always share it via OneDrive instead or another cloud drive.
