Invoice number needed

I need to get the invoice number for an order I placed. Where is that located?

To get the invoice, kindly follow the steps below:

Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Select your Microsoft 365 subscription

Then look for View invoice or View receipt

Could you clarify what type of customer you are with Microsoft?

For example:

• A personal Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 Personal/Family, Xbox, etc.)
• A business or work account (Microsoft 365 for Business/Enterprise)
• An Azure subscription
• Another Microsoft product or service

Also, if possible, let me know where the order was placed (Microsoft Store, Microsoft 365 subscription, Azure, etc.).

For Microsoft Store purchases, the invoice number is shown on the Order details page for that specific order.

To find it:

1. Go to your order history at account.microsoft.com/billing and sign in with the account used for the purchase.
2. Under Payment & billing > Order history, select the correct date range and locate the order.
3. Select Order details for that order.
4. The invoice information (including invoice number) is shown on this page, and you can select Tax invoice where applicable. You can also print the invoice from here using Print.

If the invoice is not yet available, note that tax invoices can take from 48 hours up to 5 days after purchase before they appear on the Order detail page.
