Hi, I'm Rodrigo, and I will help you.
As stated by AI above, you can create sticky notes on Outlook.
The notes are saved in the Notes menu and are not associated with the email message or folder you are working on at the moment.

Is the sticky note assigned to the email you are working with or is it just a general sticky note

Yes. Classic Outlook for Windows has a built-in Notes feature that works like electronic sticky notes.

To create and use notes in classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365 / Outlook 2024 / Outlook 2021):

    1. From any Outlook folder, press Ctrl+Shift+N to create a new note.
    2. Type the text for the note (e.g., reminders about an email, phone numbers, to-dos).
    3. Leave the note open and drag it anywhere on the screen while working.
    4. To close it, click the note icon in the upper-left corner of the note window and choose Save & Close.

To view or edit existing notes:

    • Microsoft 365: Select More Apps on the Navigation Bar, then Notes. Double-click a note to open and edit it.
    • Office 2021: Press Ctrl+5, or click Notes in the Navigation bar, then double-click the note.

These notes are stored in the Notes folder in Outlook and can be used alongside email as sticky-style reminders.

If Outlook is connected to the same account used with Sticky Notes/OneNote, sticky notes can also appear in the Notes folder in Outlook on the web and sync across devices.
