Good morning,

I would like to request guidance on how to proceed with retaking the final exam of a certification I completed through Microsoft.

I have already taken the exam once, but I did not achieve the required passing score and need to retake it.

I was advised via email by EPI Academy to access the Microsoft Learn Portal. However, I could not find any information related to this process. Since this is an external certification (EXIN) taken through Microsoft, it is unclear which steps I should follow at this point.

Could you please advise on how I can proceed to retake the exam or obtain a new voucher?

To proceed:

1. Follow the guidance from EPI Academy/EXIN
   • Use the contact or support channel provided by EPI Academy or EXIN (for example, from the email already received) to request:
     • A retake of the CDCP exam, and
     • Clarification on whether a new voucher is required and how to obtain it.
   • Because this is an external certification, only EPI/EXIN can confirm eligibility, costs, and scheduling rules for retakes.
2. Use Microsoft Learn only if it is hosting the training
   • Microsoft Learn may host the learning content or lab environment, but the exam policies, scoring, and retakes for CDCP (EXIN) are outside the Microsoft Certification exam system described in the Microsoft exam policies.
3. If there is any issue with a Microsoft Certification exam (not EXIN)
   • For Microsoft-owned certifications and exams, retakes follow the Microsoft Exam Retake Policy: after a failed attempt, a 24-hour wait is required before the first retake, and a 14-day wait between subsequent attempts, with a maximum of five attempts in 12 months.
