Replying to emails within a thread

Only a few days ago, I was able to reply to individual emails within a thread, but now I only see an option to Reply/Reply All/Forward the latest email in the thread. I'm so frigging sick and tired of Microsoft screwing things up overnight every chance they get. I use that Reply to previous emails in a thread constantly, and forwarding too. Forwarding specific parts of a conversation, replying to emails in the thread that had different groups of people Cced, answering individual parts of an ongoing conversation. Can't do any of that now because the freaking reply and forward buttons are GONE from emails within a thread. Why the heck would you go in and gut this feature randomly? Has Microsoft EVER sent emails before? Do they do office work at all? I find myself asking this question constantly, this is just the most recent reason for it.

So my question is, how long until super genius Microsoft goes back and undoes this destructive piece of their recent update?

In Outlook for Android and iOS, replying to or forwarding individual messages inside a conversation is still supported, but the commands have moved into the per‑message menu instead of being shown as separate buttons on each item.

To reply or forward a specific message within a thread/conversation on mobile:

    1. Open the conversation.
    2. Go to the specific message in the thread that needs a reply or forward.
    3. Tap the 3 dots icon at the top right of that message (not the whole conversation).
    4. From the menu that appears, choose Reply, Reply All, or Forward. These actions apply only to that individual message.

If using the quick reply box at the bottom of the conversation and need to change how the reply is sent:

    1. Start typing in the quick reply box.
    2. Tap the list of recipients shown above the reply area.
    3. In the action sheet that opens, switch between Reply, Reply All, or Forward, and edit the recipient list as needed.

These options allow replying to earlier messages in a thread, forwarding specific parts of a conversation, and adjusting recipients per message.
