My clipchamp appears to be starting up and then it stays on a blank screen. please help me.

I checked current reports and haven't found any indication of a widespread Clipchamp service outage at this time. However, I am seeing multiple recent reports from users experiencing a blank white screen or loading issues in Clipchamp, which may suggest a problem related to a recent update or a client-side issue rather than a complete service outage.

Since several users appear to be reporting similar symptoms, it may be worth monitoring for additional reports and escalating the issue to the Clipchamp product team if the problem continues or becomes more widespread.

Try the following steps in order until Clipchamp opens past the blank screen:

1. Refresh or reopen the project
   • If Clipchamp opens but the editor area is blank or stuck on “loading your assets”, press Ctrl + F5 (or use the browser/app reload button) to reload the editor.
   • Go back to the Clipchamp project overview, reload that page, then reopen the project.
2. Use a supported browser or the desktop app
   • Use the latest Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
   • If using the browser and it stays blank, try the Clipchamp desktop app for Windows instead.
3. Check internet connection
   • Make sure Wi‑Fi/internet is active and stable while opening Clipchamp and projects, because Clipchamp needs an active connection to function and save progress.
4. Free up memory and disk space
   • Close other browser tabs and any other applications to free RAM.
   • Ensure there is enough free space on the internal drive; free space should be more than the total size of the video files in the project.
5. Disable or whitelist browser extensions
   • Privacy, ad‑blocking, translation, or other extensions can block Clipchamp and cause a blank or stuck screen.
   • Either temporarily disable extensions in Edge/Chrome, or whitelist Clipchamp:
     • Personal version: allow https://app.clipchamp.com/.
   • After changing extension settings, restart the browser and reload Clipchamp.
6. Check Edge “Added security” / tracking prevention (Edge only)
   • In Edge, click the lock/Added security icon next to the address bar when on Clipchamp.
   • Turn off Tracking prevention for this site.
   • Reload the page and test again.
7. Verify hardware requirements
   • Ensure the device has at least 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended), a 64‑bit CPU/OS, and a recent graphics card.
   • If the device is older or under‑spec, Clipchamp may freeze or show a blank screen; testing on a newer or more powerful computer can confirm this.

If the screen is still blank after these steps, use the Clipchamp support options (help articles, support hub, or tutorials) to continue troubleshooting.
