Currently i've tried and follow multiple steps in attempt to play minecraft multiplayer, I just bought it and extremely disapointed that I am not able to play multiplayer, and this also include going Xbox and Windows 10 privacy settings and checking that I do indeed have all setting as allowed. So I'm extremely irriated adn curious as in why I'm not able to play and you guy made everything really overwhelming.

For Minecraft multiplayer on Xbox/Microsoft accounts, the critical setting is the Xbox privacy privilege “You can join multiplayer games”. The screenshot shows this set to Allow, which is correct, but there are two common issues relevant to this scenario:

    1. Family / child account propagation delay
When a parent/organizer changes a child’s setting from Block to Allow, it can take some time for the change to propagate across Xbox services. In a similar case, multiplayer started working only after the setting had been Allow for over 24 hours. Actions:
      1. Ensure the organizer account has set, for the child account, under Privacy & online safety → Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety:
        • You can join multiplayer games → Allow
      2. Leave the setting on Allow and wait up to 24 hours, then fully sign out and back in to the Xbox / Minecraft account on the PC.
    2. Family Safety / Xbox family group alignment
If the account is or was part of a Microsoft Family, Xbox still enforces those policies. Another user resolved lingering restrictions by:
      1. Adding the account back into Microsoft Family Safety.
      2. Turning off all Family Safety “Features” and “Activity reporting” for that member.
      3. Going to the member’s Xbox profile and, under Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety, setting all relevant options (including You can join multiplayer games) to Allow.
      4. Leaving the account as a Family Safety member, signing out of Xbox/Minecraft on the device, then restarting the device and signing back in.

If multiplayer is still blocked after these steps and after waiting for propagation, sign out of the Minecraft/Xbox app, restart the PC, and sign back in to force the latest policy to be applied.
