Microsoft Gift Redemption

I purchased two $15 (Totaling $30) Microsoft gift cards from Target and redeemed them through the Microsoft Store. The gift cards have not loaded, and I am now unable to redeem them. I get a message stating the gift cards have already been used but they are nowhere to be found on my account. It also charged the card on file $29.80 for the game we were trying to purchase.

A request for a refund for what was charged was submitted BUT we still do not see the gift cards loaded. If I need to provide a receipt for the gift cards I can send or you can just update my account with the funds seemingly lost/not uploaded.

    Hi Mell Scardina

If your gift cards show as “already redeemed” but the balance is not in your account, this requires Microsoft Support to check the redemption and billing history on your account directly. Community/forum users cannot access or verify account-level transactions.

Please contact Microsoft Support here: Contact Support. Sign in, choose Billing & purchases → Microsoft Store, and request chat so they can investigate and restore the balance or correct the charge.

Have your receipt, gift card codes, and order details ready for faster assistance.

Hope you'll get this sorted out!
