Bitlocker keys

Question

i would like to request for bitlocker keys for the below:

Lenovo Ideapad 3 15ITL6

Serial Number PF3DJ174

my laptop need the key to open bitlocker. kindly assist to send to my email account.

If your drive is encrypted with Bitlocker, the only place the Bitlocker Recovery key is automatically stored is on the associated Microsoft account on the link below, be sure to check any Microsoft account that may have been used on the PC and also any work or school account that may be linked to the PC.

(Note, even if your device does not show on the Microsoft account, the Bitlocker Recovery Key may still be available on this link)

Are you able to find the Bitlocker Recovery Key on any account that may have been used or linked to the laptop?

If not, do you have a safe backup of your files, or use a cloud service like OneDrive to sync your files online.

BitLocker recovery keys cannot be generated or sent by Microsoft or this service. The recovery key already exists and is stored only in locations that were chosen when BitLocker/device encryption was first enabled.

To unlock the Lenovo Ideapad, the existing BitLocker recovery key must be found in one of these places:

1. Microsoft account (for personal/home devices)
   • If the device was signed in with a Microsoft account, check the BitLocker keys associated with that account:
   • Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com, open the Devices tab, select the Lenovo Ideapad, and choose View BitLocker Keys.
   • Alternatively, use the recovery key page referenced here: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey.
2. Work or school account (Entra ID / organization-managed)
   • If the device is managed by a work or school, sign in to the My Account portal with the work/school account on another device and go to the Devices page, then select View BitLocker Keys for the locked device.
   • If the key is not visible, contact the organization’s IT/helpdesk. They may retrieve the key from Microsoft Entra ID, AD DS, Intune, or a BitLocker helpdesk/self-service portal.
3. Other possible backup locations
   • A printed copy that was saved when BitLocker was turned on.
   • A USB flash drive where the recovery key file was saved.
   • A file saved on another PC or network location.

If none of these locations contain the recovery key

• When the BitLocker prompt appears before Windows starts and no valid recovery key can be found anywhere, the data on the drive cannot be decrypted. In that case, the only option is to delete the encrypted partitions and reinstall Windows, which results in data loss.

This service cannot email or otherwise provide a BitLocker key based on device model or serial number.
