Hi Team,

We were exploring different features and their respective pricing for Microsoft Entra External ID as per below document ->

In this document, we need further breakdown on features included in ID Governance and for pricing (if available).

Also, I want to query about pricing for integrating SIEM such as Sentinel with Entra External ID for audit and sign-in logs.

Hi Aditya Pande,

At this time, Microsoft does not publish a detailed breakdown of the individual capabilities covered under the ID Governance ($0.75/MAU) add-on for Microsoft Entra External ID, nor is there a separate price assigned to each capability. The pricing is published as a single charge for the ID Governance offering.

Based on the Microsoft Entra ID Governance feature set, governance capabilities may include scenarios such as Entitlement Management and Access Reviews for external users. However, we were unable to find a Microsoft-published mapping that explicitly lists all features included under the External ID ID Governance MAU charge.

Regarding Microsoft Sentinel, integration with Microsoft Entra External ID is priced separately from External ID. Audit and sign-in logs can be streamed to Azure Monitor/Log Analytics and consumed by Microsoft Sentinel. Sentinel charges are generally based on data ingestion and retention rather than Monthly Active Users, so the cost will depend on the volume of logs collected and the retention period configured.
