Account subscription issues

Excel asks me to upgrade to use it now. However, when I follow the prompts it responds that I already have an active subscription until July 2026. BUT it still won't let me save any work. Did submit a phone support request, but that does nothing except give me a ticket number and a vague system message that callback times will vary.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Since Microsoft 365 is showing active through July 2026, this may be a licensing or account sync issue rather than a subscription problem.

Could you sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services and confirm that your Microsoft 365 subscription appears there?

Also, is this happening only in Excel, or are Word and other Office apps affected as well?
