Yep - you can uninstall LibreOffice if you are using Microsoft 365 and do not need LibreOffice anymore. Removing the program does not delete your documents. LibreOffice application files and your personal files are separate.
Your LibreOffice documents are usually stored in folders like Documents, Desktop, or wherever you saved them. Uninstalling LibreOffice only removes the software itself, not the .odt, .ods, .odp, or other files you created with it.
Before uninstalling, it is still a good idea to verify where your files are stored and make a backup copy if anything is important. You can also open most LibreOffice files directly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, although complex formatting or formulas may occasionally need adjustment.
If you later need LibreOffice again, you can reinstall it without affecting your existing files.
