When I try to open any Word document, I receive a pop-up saying Word has an error that keeps it from opening properly and do I want to repair. When I hit yes, repair. It closes the document. Then when I click the document again, I get the same message. What should I do?

When someone posts here, "Repair Now" has not worked. We see this fairly frequently.

    Do an Online repair.

The quick repair option on that error dialog rarely works to resolve this problem, the best option is to perform a full repair of your Office installation.

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Apps - Installed Apps, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office

Select that and choose Modify - Online Repair

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation.
