Storage issue

I have emptied my inbox and have only 974 emails. It still says 4.9GB used. I am not able to receive or send emails. How can I fix this?

    What about your OneDrive https://www.onedrive.com? Check there too and clean up if you can. It can take 24 hours after clean up to see the updated storage.
