Interception/interference with Q&A search

I've used a product called FileLocator from a company named MythicSoft for years. Recently, after upgrading to Window 11 on a new computer, those searches are intercepted by (I don't know). Instead of search in my computer's file system, it goes to google search.
That's not only disruptive, but there's no obvious way to get around it.

    The best next step is to reach out directly to the MythicSoft support team or check their resources for known compatibility issues. In the meantime, here's some quick checks you can do:

    • Test normal Windows search
      • Press Win + S > search for a local file
      • Also open File Explorer > use the search box
      • Compare with the result for the same file in FileLocator.
    • Check FileLocator settings
      • Open its search directory configurations
      • See if any unnecessary sources were added, e.g. online search.
    • Compare with another setup (if possible)
      • Test FileLocator search on another Windows 11 computer.
      • If it doesn't show online results, uninstall it and reinstall the newest version.
      • If it still does > possible compatibility issue with Windows 11 > contact MythicSoft support.
