I deleted some mails and folders about 8 days ago from the "deleted mail" folder then I realized later that I needed some of them.

I managed to recover many, but not the ones that had been in folders or sub-folders that were deleted after having emptied them. I can still see several empty folders in Deleted Items.

How can I recover the contents of deleted folders and subfolders?

Sorry to hear that. In Outlook.com, if the messages are no longer inside Deleted Items, the next place to check is Recover items deleted from this folder. Items removed from Deleted Items are normally recoverable for 30 days, but this has to be done from Outlook.com/Outlook on a PC or Mac, not from the mobile app or a mobile browser.

Please try this:

Go to Outlook.com on a computer.
Open Deleted Items.
At the top of the message list, select Recover items deleted from this folder.
Sort by Deleted On, Subject, or From to locate the missing messages.
Select the messages and choose Restore.

If the folder was emptied first, or if the items were removed from Deleted Items, the folder structure may not be recoverable. In that case, you can only recover the individual messages from the recoverable items area.

If the messages do not appear under Recover items deleted from this folder, then they were likely permanently removed and cannot be recovered from the Outlook.com side.

This is an empty folder inside "deleted items" folder (sorry but I'm italian) where I have to go form here?

As mentioned, you cannot use the folders themselves to recover the messages because the folders were emptied first. You would need to recover each individual email item instead.

Please check the root of the Deleted Items folder, not inside any folders that may still appear there. If the messages are not listed there, use the Recover items deleted from this folder option, as shown in the screenshot, and restore the emails one by one from the recoverable deleted items list.

In "recover items deleted" I see 548 emails but not the email I'm searching... Maybe I deleted it too much time ago :-(

Unfortunately, if the emails are not available in the recoverable deleted items list, it is possible that they were deleted more than 30 days ago. In that case, the emails can no longer be recovered from Outlook.com.

I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but once the recovery period has passed and the items are no longer shown there, there is no additional option available to restore them.
