    Hi @cristhian Gomez

Thank you for reaching us regarding the issue.

The Microsoft for Startups application review typically takes up to 3 business days, but it can take longer (sometimes a week or more) if additional verification is needed, such as checking company details, documents, or eligibility.

    • After submission, you receive $1,000 in starter credits immediately (after setting up your Azure account) and can start building right away while the review continues.
    • The yellow banner "We're reviewing your application. This may take up to 3 business days." is expected to remain visible during this period. It is normal behavior and does not necessarily indicate a problem.
    • You will receive an email notification once a decision is made (approval unlocks expanded credits and full benefits, often up to $100K+ depending on the path)

    What You Can Do Now

    1. Continue using your Azure credits, Deploy resources, test, and build as normal. The $1,000 is active.
    2. Check your email (including spam/junk) for any requests for more information or the approval/decline notification.
    3. If it's been well beyond 3 business days (e.g., a full week+ with no update), submit a support request for a status check.

    How to Contact Support:

    • For Microsoft for Startups program-specific support (application status, review delays, onboarding): Go to aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal.
    • In the Microsoft for Startups Portal (or Azure Portal under the program page): Select the ? icon → Submit a Support Ticket. Provide your application details, submission date, and screenshots of the status banner.

Kindly let us know if the above helps or you need further assistance on this issue.

Please "accept" if the information helped you. This will help us and others in the community as well.

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A

Hello @cristhian Gomez I hope you are doing well.

If your Microsoft for Startups application has remained in the "We're reviewing your application" status for more than a week, it is taking longer than the typical review window. This can happen if the application requires additional verification or if there is a delay in the review process.

    Please check the following:

    • Verify that all the information submitted in your application is complete and accurate.
    • Check your email (including the spam/junk folder) for any requests from the Microsoft for Startups team.
    • If no additional information has been requested and the status has not changed after one week, I recommend contacting the Microsoft for Startups support team so they can review the status of your application.
