NIC failure in Azure network

There are VMs connected to multiple NICs.
One is the operational system and the other is the standby system.

In the Azure environment, if a failure occurs in the NIC
Will it switch to the NIC of the standby system?

Also, what should I do in case of NIC failure?
Please let me know the document information about what to do in case of NIC failure.

Hello @金泰弘 , Thank you for reaching out and apologies for the delay. As per the documentation Azure assigns a default gateway to the first (primary) network interface attached to the virtual machine. Azure does not assign a default gateway to additional (secondary) network interfaces attached to a virtual machine. Therefore, you are unable to communicate with resources outside the subnet that a secondary network interface is in, by default. You can establish this connectivity by adding a default route (Based on your OS) for this secondary NIC. Please follow this document for Linux based OS.

If the NIC is broken, will Azure notify me?
