@shianweipang-4278,

What operation do you do when this error message prompts? Sign in the Microsoft Teams client or anything else?

According to the error message, it seems more like a Windows side problem but a Microsoft Teams problem. As we are mainly responsible for Microsoft Teams, which is a service integrating chat, call, meeting, content sharing together and contributing to team cooperation, if your problem doesn’t happen to our product, I will modify the tag to a suitable one.

Moreover, I find a method that is to create a new Windows User Profile. It is not a best option but can be used in case of emergency.

If I misunderstand your words, please kindly give us more descriptions and steps to know your situation well. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I am having this problem when I signed in the Microsoft Teams. This problem kept happening many times already.

The error code given is always the same.

@shianweipang-4278,

It is suggested to clear your client cache as the following steps:

  1. Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray, select ‘Quit’. Or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.

  2. Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.

  3. Once in the directory, delete any file in the following folders:
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

If no luck, please uninstall and reinstall Teams.

Besides, set Teams to Windows 8 compatibility can be another method. The following is the steps:

  1. Click on "Start" Menu

  2. Scroll to Microsoft Teams

  3. Right click and move cursor over "more" select "open file location"

  4. Right click the Microsoft Teams shortcut

  5. Select Properties

  6. Select Compatibility tab

  7. Select the box to activate "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" under Compatibility mode.

  8. Select "Windows 8"

  9. Click "OK"

  10. Startup Microsoft Teams
