    @shianwei pang ,

It is suggested to clear your client cache as the following steps:

    1. Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray, select ‘Quit’. Or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.
    2. Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.
    3. Once in the directory, delete any file in the following folders:
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

If no luck, please uninstall and reinstall Teams.

Besides, set Teams to Windows 8 compatibility can be another method. The following is the steps:

    1. Click on "Start" Menu
    2. Scroll to Microsoft Teams
    3. Right click and move cursor over "more" select "open file location"
    4. Right click the Microsoft Teams shortcut
    5. Select Properties
    6. Select Compatibility tab
    7. Select the box to activate "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" under Compatibility mode.
    8. Select "Windows 8"
    9. Click "OK"
    10. Startup Microsoft Teams

Since the Thread is old, I'm sure the problem was resolved but for anyone else that encounters this problem...

If the above does not help. You need to sign into Windows with a 2nd account that has Admin permissions or do this from another computer accessing the UNC path. I won't explain that because if you don't know. Maybe you should ask for help with this but...

So after signing in or using UNC path. Open the profile that has the problem.

    1. C:\Users<SpecificAccount\AppData\Local\Packages
    2. Rename the folder: Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
      1. to: Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy.old
    3. Then sign back in with the problem account.

    This usually resolves the problem.

    • You could delete the other folder but I usually wait until I know for sure its working.
