I cannot send emails from webmail

Please help. My email account is not working and what I am doing to try and fix it is making it worse.

    To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you using a personal Outlook/Hotmail account or a work/school Microsoft 365 account?
    2. Can you receive emails, or is only sending affected?
    3. Do the failed emails stay in Drafts/Outbox, or do they disappear after you click Send?
