Microsoft 365, problem opening excel?

I cannot open Excel, the error message says, the operating system is not presently configured to run this application? can you help? error code 30015-45 (2147942405)

    This error indicates either there is a previous version of Office installed on your PC causing incompatibility problems or the Office installation is corrupt.

    If there is a previous version of Office installed on your PC, uninstall it, then restart your PC.

    Then, open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to Apps - Installed Apps, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office

    Select that and choose Modify - Online Repair

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation.
