You cannot change it since it is not a local account user. What you can try since you can login via Microsoft is to change and update the password there. Once password is updated you can then check it if it will be accepted by the computer when you login.
password don't work
I updated my motherboard BIOS, and now I can't log into Windows. I say that my email or password is wrong. But I'm able to log in online at microsoft.com. So I know my email and password work. Running Windows 11 pro

There are times a BIOS update can change hardware settings that affect Windows sign-in, still I need to further check.
First, see if you are connected to the internet. Next, your option is to try login in via safe mode and check if you can login from there. Also, check you motherboard settings again and you can do a reset or load to default settings then save it.
