recent windows update has shut down my audio drivers, and it will not reinstall drivers

    What happens when you restart the laptop again?

    Is the Audio driver visible in the Device Manager?

    Right-click the Start Menu and then click on Device Manager, then expand Sound, Video and Game, Controllers.

    Look for the Audio driver.

    If it is missing, visit the support website of your device and then download and install the latest Audio driver.
