Copilot no longer allows multiple image uploads — breaking my workflow - paying customer
I am a paying Microsoft 365 customer and Copilot is a core part of my workflow. I use Copilot daily to generate images for my music videos, animation projects, and content creation. Until recently, I could upload multiple reference images to guide Copilot’s output — which is essential for character consistency and scene continuity.
As of this week, Copilot suddenly refuses to accept more than one image. Any attempt to upload a second image results in an error or the image being ignored. This is breaking my workflow and preventing me from producing the content I normally create with Copilot.
This is not a minor inconvenience — it directly impacts my ability to work. I rely on multi‑image uploads for:
• character reference sheets
• pose and expression matching
• scene continuity
• animation consistency
• visual direction for complex compositions
Copilot used to support this without issue. Now it doesn’t, and there is no documentation explaining the change, no warning, and no alternative workflow provided.
I need clarification on the following:
Has Microsoft removed multi‑image uploads from Copilot?
Is this a temporary bug or a permanent policy change?
If this is intentional, what is the recommended workflow for creators who rely on multiple reference images?
When will multi‑image support return, or what replacement feature will be provided?
This change has a real impact on creators who use Copilot professionally. Please advise.
