I can not find a email for 3/13/2025 or for the month of March. I am using a lap top signed on to the web. I have tried:

looking through all mail boxes folders, used different web sites (Edge and Chrome) Searching other months and search words. Followed Microsoft trouble shooting. How do I restore the email?

    Hi lorelei davis

I understand how frustrating it is, especially after you've already searched folders, tried different browsers, and followed Microsoft's troubleshooting guidance.

To help narrow this down, could you please confirm:

    • Are you looking for one specific email dated March 13, 2025, or are multiple emails from March 2025 missing?
    • Is this an Outlook.com/Hotmail personal account, or another type of account added to Outlook.com?

If you haven't already done so, please also check Deleted Items folder and then selecting "Recover items deleted from this folder" at the top if the message isn't there. Microsoft notes that messages removed from Deleted Items are only recoverable for a limited time, and deleted messages can only be restored if they still appear in the recovery area.

Because the missing date is from March 2025, if the email was deleted or removed at that time and no longer appears there, Outlook.com usually cannot restore it from the service side.

Please feel free to share any updates at your convenience. I truly appreciate your time and understanding.

If you cannot find a folder or though a search, please check your Deleted Items, Archive and Recover Deleted items folder (if you have them). If it's not there in Outlook on the web either, it may have been deleted or moved and may not be recoverable unless you have a backup.
