Activate subscription not working

I have an ongoing subscription with Microsoft 365 but it has stopped allowing me to open my files and said I need to activate subscription so I did and paid £80 for the year again but it still says I don’t have an active account when I do. Can someone please call me. I am not signing into the wrong account.

    To help narrow down the issue:

    1. When you go to https://account.microsoft.com/services, does the Microsoft 365 subscription show as Active under the same account?
    2. In Word or Excel on your Mac, what exact message appears when you click Activate?
    3. What macOS version are you using?
