Excel freezing

Excel freezing and wont open in safe mode. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still no change. Cant find live help!

    Hi Susannah, Welcome in Community

    Open Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc) > Windows Logs > Application. Look for Event ID 1000 (Application Error) or AppHang events related to excel.exe, check the Faulting Module Name. If it points to ntdll.dll or mso.dll, it's a core Windows/Office issue. If it points to a third-party .dll (like an EDR/Antivirus hook or an old display driver), that's your target.

    Then, for testing purpose, open services.msc (by typing from WIN + R), restart the Print Spooler service, and temporarily set your default printer to "Microsoft Print to PDF" or XPS Document Writer. Then try launching Excel again
