    Hi Christina ATEF

I understand you are not receiving the authentication SMS code on your mobile number in Egypt.

I cannot confirm whether there is a current Egypt-specific SMS delivery issue from Microsoft’s side, because moderators do not have access to Microsoft’s backend SMS delivery logs. However, verification codes may fail or be delayed for several reasons. Please try the following:

    1) Stop requesting the code repeatedly

    • If you request the SMS code many times in a short period, code delivery may be temporarily blocked.
    • Please wait before trying again. I suggest waiting 24 hours.

    2) Check your mobile phone settings

    • Make sure SMS from unknown numbers or short codes is not blocked.
    • Check that your SMS inbox is not full.
    • Temporarily turn off any SMS filter, spam blocker, or security app, then try again later.

    3) Try another verification option if shown

If Outlook.com offers another option, such as a backup email, Microsoft Authenticator, or another saved security method, please use that instead.

    4) Check whether the number is a real mobile number

If you still cannot receive the code, please use Microsoft’s sign-in helper or recovery options from this page: Microsoft account security info & verification codes | Microsoft Support. Thank you!
