cannot get verification codes via email

When trying to sign into my account & it wants verification sent to my email, I never get the verification code. Why?

    If you don’t receive a verification code, it could be due to several reasons. You might be temporarily blocked because of unusual activity, repeated code requests, your email blocking messages from unknown senders, or a full inbox.

    1. I suggest that you check if your inbox is full. If so, delete unnecessary messages to make room for incoming ones. You can also try sending a message to yourself to verify that this is not the issue.
    2. Check your spam or junk folder in case the code landed there.
    3. For email, check if your account is blocking messages from unknown senders.
