For some time I have issues with my Wi-Fi connection. At first I thought that my USB Wi-Fi card is an issue and it partially was because something started to be wrong with cable, so i bought PCIE one and also antena on 2 meter cable so I could set it up in better position and I managed to have full or almost full Wi-Fi strength but i pretty often have large ping spikes that sometimes end up in losing connection to Wi-Fi. Also I've got two networks - 5G one and 2.4G one - 5G one has even more issues as after almost each time I boot up my PC, it will try to connect to 5G network but fail saying "Cannot connect to this network". When I try to connect manually, same thing. After multiple attempts, it starts asking me to type in password as some information have changed and i do so and same thing. After multiple attempts, this time providing password each time, it will either connect or start simply saying "incorrect password" even tho password is correct. Forgetting network doesn't help. 2.4G doesn't have such issues. Occasionally PC will refuse to connect to it but only one time. The biggest issue tho is ping spikes and disconnecting on both networks.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Wi-Fi connection. Could you please share some additional information about your setup?

    • Are the PC and the router/modem located in the same room, or is there a significant distance between them?
    • Have you tested this device with a different Wi-Fi network, such as a mobile hotspot, to verify if the issue happens with other networks as well?
    • Could you please try restarting the modem/router and check if the issue persists? This can help refresh the connection and clear temporary network information.

Even if other devices can connect successfully to the same Wi-Fi network, the issue could still be related to the configuration or saved network information on this specific device, as different devices may use different connection settings.
