Regarding the "Unknown Error" (Error Code: 0x0) that appears when you try to open Word and Excel. To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few additional details?
May I ask what version of IOS are you currently using?
I found that Microsoft recently introduced a licensing certificate update for Microsoft 365 apps on macOS and iOS. Devices running unsupported Office versions may experience unexpected issues and can enter a reduced functionality state if the required updates are not installed.
As an initial step, please make sure both macOS and Microsoft 365 apps are fully updated to the latest supported versions. Microsoft recommends updating the operating system first. For macOS devices, the minimum supported Office version is 16.83 and the minimum supported operating system is macOS 12 (Monterey) or later.
If Outlook is already updated and the issue still persists, Microsoft also recommends completely signing out of Office, closing the application, reopening it, and then signing back in with your organization's account (including the_.onmicrosoft.com_ account if applicable). In some cases, this helps refresh the licensing information after the certificate update.
