Why do MSN Games don't save Progress?

I played a few MSN Games while being Signed in to my Microsoft Account but even then no single game saved progress. I switched browsers and tried playing the same games over and over again none saved their progress. I find this really frustrating as this makes MSN Games pretty useless because once you delete your cache or switch to a new device or whatever none of your progress moves over.

Hi,

This happens because your progress is stored locally in your browser through cookies and site data. It isn't saved to a cloud server, so if you delete your cookies and site data or switch to a different browser or device, your progress won't carry over and you'll have to start over. These types of browser-based games are generally intended for short, casual play rather than long-term progress across multiple devices. Unless the game offers an account or cloud save feature, your progress will only remain on the browser where you originally played it.
