Teams: Remove contacts

How do I delete contacts of people who have passed away that keep coming up in my suggested contacts?

If you are referring to the suggested people that appear when searching for contacts in Teams, you can try hovering your mouse over the suggested account. In some versions of Teams, a small X appears next to the suggestion, which allows you to remove it from the suggested list.

If the X option does not appear, those suggestions may be generated from your Microsoft account, Outlook contacts, or recent interactions, and Teams may not provide a direct option to permanently remove them. In that case, you can review and manage your contacts in Outlook/People and check if the suggestion disappears after the information is updated or synchronized.
