Microsoft Store Developer employee verification blocked by incorrect "ran out of attempts" message

We are trying to complete Microsoft Store developer account verification for OpenCode Inc. Business verification is already marked as verified, but employment verification is blocked.

The Microsoft Store developer account verification page shows the following error:

Appeal limit reached Your verification didn't succeed. You've used the maximum number of verification appeals allowed for this request. If your company details need correction, you can update your account details.

We do not believe we reached the appeal limit. This is our second time going through the Microsoft Store developer verification process, and we have not submitted three failed employment verification attempts. During our first attempt, we emailed the Microsoft verification / store support team about this. We were instructed to click "Update account details," which should have reset the appeal attempts, but the same error still appears.

Could someone please review our Microsoft Store developer verification status and reset or reopen the employment verification step?
