Black Screen

I updated my laptop from Windows 11 22H2 to Windows 11 25H2. The update installed successfully, and after the restart everything worked normally. However, when the laptop entered sleep mode, it would not wake up. Pressing the power button, moving the mouse, pressing keys on the keyboard, and trying the usual wake-up shortcuts had no effect. The screen remained completely black, although the Caps Lock key responded, indicating that Windows was still running.

I then forced the laptop to shut down. After that, every time I powered it on, I could hear the Windows startup sound, which confirmed that the operating system had booted, but the display remained black.

The important point is that this issue was already present on Windows 11 22H2 before I upgraded. Even before the update, whenever the laptop went to sleep, it would often fail to wake, leaving the screen black while the system appeared to remain powered on. This suggests that the Windows 25H2 update did not create the problem but likely exposed or aggravated an existing issue. I would want to know what the issue is. Thanks

A black or blank screen in Windows can be caused by different factors, such as display configuration issues, graphics driver problems, corrupted system files, or changes after a Windows update. To better understand where the problem is occurring, could you please let me know what happens every time you turn on the device?

Are you able to see the manufacturer logo (for example, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, etc.) when the device starts? If you can see the logo but the screen goes black afterward, this may indicate that the issue happens during the Windows loading process. If you do not see any logo or startup information at all, it could point to a hardware, display, or firmware-related issue.
