I have Azure Pay-as-you-go. I tried deploy Claude Opus 4.8 it failed same for all other Claude models. Other models are able to deploy just fine. After some digging it looks like its an issue in azure backend.

"code": "InternalServerError"

"message": "Internal Server Error."

    Hi,

    If only Claude models are failing and other Foundry models deploy successfully, I would first check the Claude-specific requirements. Claude models in Microsoft Foundry are partner/community models and require Azure Marketplace eligibility, supported subscription/billing country, supported deployment region, and available Claude quota.

    Please verify:

    1. The subscription is a paid Pay-As-You-Go subscription with an active billing method.
    2. The billing account country/region is supported for Anthropic/Claude purchases.
    3. You are deploying in a supported Foundry region and using the correct deployment type, usually Global Standard.
    4. Your account has permission to subscribe to Azure Marketplace model offerings.
    5. Check quota for the specific Claude model/version in Foundry.

    If all of the above are valid and the deployment still fails with:

    InternalServerError
    Internal Server Error

    then this is likely not something you can fix from the portal. Please open a Microsoft support request and include:

    • Subscription ID
    • Foundry hub/project name
    • Region
    • Model name/version, for example claude-opus-4-8
    • Deployment type selected
    • UTC timestamp of the failed deployment
    • Full error JSON and correlation/request ID if shown
