I'm missing emails from between 6/23/26 to 7/17/26. They are not in the deleted folder or the archive. Suggestions?

    Hi Les Armstrong

I understand how concerning it can be when a large range of emails appears to be missing.

If you're using a personal Outlook.com account, could you please confirm:

    • Are the missing emails absent when you sign in directly at Outlook.com in a web browser, or only in a specific email app/device?
    • Do you see the missing messages when you use the search box and search for a sender or subject from that date range?
    • Did the issue start after any recent change, such as adding/removing a device, changing account settings, or creating inbox rules?

In the meantime, you can try the following:

1, Sign in to your account at Outlook.com using a web browser.

2, Select Settings > Mail > Rules and verify that there are no rules configured to automatically move, archive, or delete messages.

3, Double-check the following folders for the missing emails:

    • Junk Email
    • Archive
    • Conversation History
    • Any custom folders you may have created

4, Open the Deleted Items folder and review its contents for any emails from the affected date range.

5, If the emails are not in Deleted Items, select "Recover items deleted from this folder" at the top of the page (if available) and check whether the missing messages can be recovered.

For reference, you can see: Recover and restore deleted items in Outlook

Please feel free to let me know how it goes after trying these checks.
