I had issues with Notifications and it was handled by your staff. Should I keep notifications off of my menu?.

    I think that's a good idea.

I don't understand what it is you want from me. I asked a simple question.

    Hi Dominic Tunzi,

To better understand the situation, could you clarify a few details?

    1. Are you referring to Windows 11 system notifications, or notifications from a particular app?
    2. What specific notification issue were you experiencing before Microsoft Support assisted you?
    3. Did Support recommend turning Notifications off permanently, or was it only a temporary troubleshooting step?
    4. If you turn notifications back on now, does the original problem return?

More information about the original issue would help determine the best recommendation.

In general, notifications provide important alerts for Windows updates, security, and applications, so they are on by default. The notification can be toggled to fit each person preference.
