Consent management problem

I have a family subscription, with 3 children & a adults. They've all got accounts & all appear in the "family" section, but only 2 children appear in the "manage consent" page. I've tried removing the child account with the problem, but I get a dialog telling me to go to the consent page for that child and remove the account there. Can't do that as that's the problem.

How can this be resolved?

I’m sorry the previous steps did not resolve it.

Since the child is still missing from Manage consent and you cannot complete the removal, there are no further self-service steps I can confidently recommend.

Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support

In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.

In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.

Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm

You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

Explain that you have already tested all adult accounts and a private browser window but remain stuck in the consent loop.

I can see that you are having issue with Microsoft Family safety

The most likely reason the child is missing from Manage consent is that consent was originally provided by another adult or through a different Microsoft account. Being the current family organizer does not automatically provide permission to withdraw consent granted by someone else.

Here are what you can try:

Sign out of all Microsoft accounts in your browser or open a private browsing window.
Sign in to Manage permissions using each adult Microsoft account that may previously have approved the child.
When the child appears, select Remove consent for this child’s account.
Return to the Family Safety page, select the child, and choose Remove from family group.

If the original consenting account cannot be accessed, try recovering that adult account first.
