Trying to activiate Microsoft 365 Basic for outlook

Hi, I am struggling to activate my Microsoft 365 Basic so that my Outlook will work again. Please can you help. I have installed Office Home 2024 but now need Outlook so I subscribed to Outlook on its own.

I am a little worried about the advertisements and the functionality of the free version of Outlook.

With 365 Basic version of Outlook which you purchased, it guarantees ad free Outlook. Outlook for Mac is free and does not contain any advertisements.

Since you have Office Home 2024, it includes Word, Excel etc so no action is required.

Hi, I have already bought all the other software with Office Home 2024. I only need Outlook to now work on my Mac. I am a little worried about the advertisements and the functionality of the free version of Outlook. Is it possible to just get the free version of Outlook and keep the bought version for the functioning of the other software - Word, Excel etc. I could then try out Outlook and see how it works.

Hi,

Microsoft 365 Basic just extends storage of your account, and does not provide an Outlook app.

Is there any reason why you do not want to use the free version?
