Hello Microsoft Q&A Community,

I have a list of Microsoft courses that CompTIA previously accepted for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). I am having difficulty matching these older or retired course titles with Microsoft’s current training offerings.

Could you please provide the current replacement, updated equivalent, or successor learning path for each course below? If a course no longer has a direct replacement, please indicate the closest current Microsoft Learn course, learning path, or certification-aligned training.

Core Solutions of Skype for Business 2015

Designing and Deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2016

Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center

Administering System Center Configuration Manager and Intune

Monitoring and Operating a Private Cloud

Configuring and Deploying a Private Cloud

Enabling and Managing Office 365

Administering a SQL Database Infrastructure

Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions

Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

Securing Windows Server 2016

Designing and Implementing Cloud Data Platform Solutions

Designing a Data Solution with Microsoft SQL Server

Virtualizing Enterprise Desktops and Apps

Windows Server 2012: Technical Overview

Windows 10 Features for a Mobile Workforce

Windows Server 2012 Training: Networking

Windows Server 2012: Identity and Access

Windows Server 2012: Storage

Developing Microsoft SQL Server Databases

Designing Database Solutions for SQL Server

For each item, it would be helpful to receive:

  • The current Microsoft course or Microsoft Learn replacement
  • A link to the updated training
  • The associated certification or exam, if applicable
  • Confirmation of whether the replacement is eligible for CompTIA CEUs
  • A note if the course is not a Microsoft course or has no Microsoft equivalent

Thank you for your assistance.

The world of certifications have moved on a lot since those courses with both cloud and AI; there are no equivalents/replacements

As for whether any Microsoft course qualifies for CompTIA, that is a question that you should put to CompTIA.
