Hello,

My Outlook won't open. You click on it and nothing happens. All other products in the Microsoft suite seem to be working with no issues. I have Right clicked on the icon and selected every option with no results. Here is what else I have done:

  1. Shut down and restarted
  2. I have Outlook pinned to my task bar, so I tried to open it by going through start and selecting it through the programs page; no dice.
    1. Also tried to open as administrator; no dice
    2. Selected individually New Message, New Event, and Open Calendar; no dice
    3. I did notice that all Office Icons such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have the name of the program under the icon. There is nothing under the Outlook icon. Not sure if this is relevant or not.
  3. Opened Task Manager - Outlook is not running
  4. Checked for Windows updates and there are no outstanding updates
  5. Settings > Outlook > Advanced Options > Terminate
  6. Settings > Outlook > Advanced Options > Repair
  7. Shutdown and restarted after completing #3 and #4
  8. Windows Key + R, typed "outlook.exe /safe" and received a message: "Windows cannot find outlook.exe"

Not sure what else to try. I appreciate any thoughts you might have!

    Hi!

The "New Outlook" is not part of Microsoft Office; only "Outlook Classic" is. It is now a separate program.

I believe this is just an issue with the program itself. Try reinstalling it:

    1. Open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Find New Outlook > Click the 3 Dots (●●●) > Uninstall.
    2. Restart your computer.
    3. Download and install New Outlook.
