Shared Group Calendar Color Coding

Hello,

I manage several shared group calendars and have the color coding assigned within that calendar. It seems that not everyone can see the colors of that shared calendar. Is there a setting to turn on so that everyone can see the color coding within that shared calendar?

I'm not referring to individual coloring from an invite being sent to a group. I want the view of the shared calendar to be the same for all, based on the color coding being set up for that calendar

I completely understand your frustration, as this limitation prevents the consistent team experience you're looking for. There is no built-in setting to enforce uniform color-coding across all users of a shared calendar. The workaround I provided earlier standardizing category names and asking each user to manually assign the same colors is the only current solution.

However, I recognize this is not an ideal fix, and your feedback on this design limitation is extremely valuable.
